What is it?
Private Model Consulting is the ultimate elite alternative to the traditional commercial modeling school.
Christie Heinrich has taught at traditional commercial modeling schools on and off for the past 10 years. She also continues to lecture on the Industry.
In addition, while she owned her modeling agency from 2001 to 2004, it was an everyday event to constantly educate her newer models in order to keep them performing to the best of their earning potentials.
Christie knows the inner workings of the traditional commercial modeling school and disagrees with many of their practices.
What can you expect to learn and achieve from Private Model Consulting vs. a traditional commercial modeling school?
A traditional commercial modeling school is first and foremost a business. They need to keep their numbers up in order to stay open. (Christie can afford to carefully choose whom she teaches.)
The traditional commercial modeling school will have a wide one size fits all curriculum that doesn’t necessarily apply to everyone.
Also, the Instructors, for the most part will have little to no real Industry world experience and most certainly will not have the connections to help you move forward with your career.
What will Christie do for you?
The most important thing is that Christie will tailor your experience to you and you alone. Your goals will be discussed and she will develop a unique curriculum in order to help you reach those goals.
It begins with the Initial Consultation where Christie will give you an honest evaluation of what sort of potential you have for the Industry and where your best markets might be. (This may mean acting, modeling, promotional work, or simply learning to have style, grace, and self confidence in the business world.)
After the Initial Consultation, if accepted for Private Model Consulting, you can expect to learn the following:
- You will learn how to walk down a runway as well as how to glide into a room like a lady.
- You will learn the best skincare methods for your skin type. You will also learn make-up application, your best colors, looks for day & night and everything in between. And of course, you will be guided in what is appropriate for where and when.
- You will be guided in Photo-Posing and be directed toward the best photographers for your market type. --- Of course, even if you’re not looking to become a model or actress, you will learn the secrets to looking fabulous in simply any photo! (Yes, there ARE secrets to this!)
- You will learn about photo-editing and composite cards.
- You will learn what to look for when choosing photographers and make-up artists, etc. (This skill will be useful throughout your lifetime!)
- When appropriate and desired, you will be guided toward and introduced to the right agencies for you by a respected and well known Industry member.
- You will get honest, inside information.
- You will learn how to market yourself rather than depend on the “old” way of doing things. In addition, Christie will guide you in using the new media and staying safe. (Yes, this means that you will learn how to book yourself for magazines, catalogs, tv commercials, etc. so that you can get those all important tearsheets even before you have an agency!)
- You will learn the right way to approach an agency.
- You will also learn various other things such as the importance of being well read, the importance of keeping up with current events, speaking publicly and properly, and so much more.

Please note that the Initial Consultation is done using the telephone and internet forms. Private Model Consulting is a process of approximately 10 (more or less when necessary) one on one sessions with Christie that are scheduled to begin at an agreed upon date and usually last for 3 hours each. They are usually organized several months in advance. This allows Christie to be able to teach literally anywhere.

PRIVATE AGENCY CONSULTING
Christie is available on a private retainer basis to assist modeling agencies when negotiating with or trying to place their models with foreign agencies.
She is exceptionally experienced in Asian contracts and negotiating direct bookings.
A Non-Disclosure Agreement will be standard.
