Christie Heinrich was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She began modeling at the age of 14 and by the age of 18 was shooting Maybelline with the likes of Davis & Dean Factor (great grandsons of Max Factor) at the then-fledgling Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles. 

She has lived and modeled in Milan, Munich, Athens, Miami, Chicago, New York, London, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Berlin, Singapore, Taipei, and Bangkok.

Because she is renowned for negotiating nearly all of her own contracts, it wasn't long before she was asked to scout for the agencies that she worked with. Soon she was not only modeling, but also scouting for nearly every agency who was anybody.

While still in Tokyo in the summer of 2001, she decided that she wanted to go home to her beloved New York City and take her scouting a step further by starting her own agency. (Many many of her friends joined her immediately. And those that did told their friends and they joined her too! It was a 'Sisters are Doing It for Themselves" sort of powerhouse of an agency!)

She LLC-ed the company while still in Tokyo and immediately flew back to New York.

This successful venture lasted until 2004 when Christie discovered that she enjoyed working on Celebrity Endorsements rather than with New Faces.

She is recognized by the British Council of Fashion as a Fashion Journalist.

She has attended Berklee College of Music for Music Business Management. (Specializing in Marketing, Image Management, and Tour Management)

She speaks fluent Italian in addition to her native English.

Today she models when she feels a project is right. She is studying Real Estate. And of course she generally practices the Auntie Mame-ism of "Live! Live! Live!"

After much prodding by friends and acquaintances she is also branching out into Private Model Consulting. (Which she is finding both successful and rewarding as she has taught modeling school and given lectures on the subject on & off for the past 10 years.) She is also doing Private Agency Consulting as well as Public Relations.

In her spare time, she is actively pursuing expanding her hair & make-up portfolio.
